Are you tired of the inconsistency that has crept into many of Netflix’s applications? You’re in luck as the company is deploying a new update that it hopes will unify the experience for it’s streaming video service.
The company detailed its new approach to creating native apps for devices like the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Smart TVs in a press release this morning. It’s Netflix’s hope that the new unified experience and unified code base for it will help it roll out feature additions quicker than it could with the older apps it’s replacing. Before today every Netflix app had its own separate interface and code base.
The update is now available for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Roku and many of the latest smart televisions. Netflix says it already has plans to roll the interface out to other devices later.
