Owners of the Xbox 360, Xbox One and practically anything with a web browser and compatibility with Xbox.com are in for a treat this weekend. In addition to allowing all users to reap the benefits of Xbox Live free until Monday, Microsoft is also marking down episodes of Law & Order Special Victims Unit and more in a special NBC-centric video sale.
All told, Xbox Video users can pick up Season 6 of Parks and Recreation, Season 5 of Parenthood, Season 15 of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Season 2 of Chicago Fire and Season 39 of Saturday Night Live for just $19.99 in standard definition. Unfortunately, Season 3 of Grimm will set users back $24.99 in standard definition. Of course, users can choose to upgrade to the high-definition versions of each season too.
Unfortunately, those who don’t wont be able to stream that video from the Xbox Video website in high-definition. That type of functionality is restricted to Xbox Video on Windows Phone, Windows 8, the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One.
