one of the millions of users who rushed out to Gamestop and similar stores to pre-order your copy of Titanfall shortly after this month’s multiplayer testing release? You may want to rethink your purchase. More specifically, if you don’t already have an Xbox One. Microsoft has confirmed that users will get a digital copy of the game itself, a standard Xbox One console and a month of Xbox Live Gold when they purchase the upcoming Xbox One Titanfall Special Edition Bundle.
Microsoft announced the new Xbox One Titanfall Special Edition bundle earlier today. What’s really interesting is that this bundle won’t cost users any extra than they would have spent for the console without a game. That’s right; users will get a digital copy of Titanfall, a standard Xbox One complete with Kinect sensor, headset, wireless controller and HDMI cable, plus a month of Xbox Live for just $499.
About the only thing users won’t find in the Titanfall bundle is a customized console. The article makes it pretty clear that there’s no special edition Xbox One to match the color scheme of the special edition controller Microsoft announced last month.
The Xbox One Titanfall Special Edition Bundle launches with Titanfall on March 11th.
