Have you recovered from last night’s HaloFest? We might have, but in case you haven’t please allow us to throw one more piece of Halo 5: The Guardians and Halo: The Master Chief Collection news at you. Halo Channel, the app that gives users all things Halo related, is now available on the Xbox One and tablets, notebooks and desktops running Microsoft’s Windows 8.1 operating system.
The Halo Channel debuted yesterday before Halo: The Master Chief Collection arrived on store shelves, according to Halo Waypoint. The app is half marketing destination, half essential place to find out the latest in Halo news. There’s a twenty-four our video channel that’s programmed by series developer 343 Industries on a daily basis. In addition to that, users can watch live action matches through the Halo Channel.
Microsoft has plans to roll out Halo Channel on its Windows Phone operating system too. That being said, it doesn’t seem as if there are plans to roll out an iPhone, iPad and Android version. Xbox One owners will need to download the app from the Xbox Store. Halo Channel can be downloaded to Windows devices from the Windows Store.
