Netflix’s Marco Polo series — you know, the show based off the explorer that the streaming giant announced earlier this year to strange looks and more than a few bad jokes from entertainment aficionados — is coming to the Xbox One, Windows Phone, Xbox 360 and anything else with a Netflix app on December 12th.
Netflix announced Marco Polo’s December 12th release date earlier today. Along with the release date came a trailer for the upcoming series. In that trailer we get our first look at the series’ tone. Don’t worry, that appears to be plenty of war, sex and mayhem in the show about the world-famous explorer.
Only those with a Netflix subscription will be able to watch Marco Polo when it appears on the streaming service and they’ll be able to watch all 10 episodes that have been produced thus far. A Netflix subscription starts at $9.99 a month.
