Another month gone and more free games for Xbox One & Xbox 360 Owners. Today you can officially download Hand of Fate and Sacred Citadel to your Xbox One without necessarily paying for either. The free games are a part of Microsoft’s February Xbox Games With Gold line-up.
Free downloads of Hand of Fate and Sacred Citadel arrived this morning. Hand of Fate is a card game available in the Xbox Store normally for $20. Microsoft will offer it for free the entire month of February. Sacred Citadel is free until February 15th.
Styx: Master of Shadows is free from February 15th to March 15th. Gears of War 2 becomes free on February 16th to February 29th. Hand of Fate and Styx: Master of Shadows are for the Xbox One. Technically, Gears of War 2 is also an Xbox One game since it’s part of the Xbox Backwards Compatibility Program.
To get these games at no additional charge, you do need an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Xbox Live Gold costs $9.99 a month, $24 for three months or $60 for a year.
