Need to spice up your Tuesday night without spending more money on more new games? Tonight on Xbox Live, download Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris or The Division’s 1.8 Update.
Unless you’re under a rock, you probably know about Curse of Osiris. Launching today as part of the Destiny 2 Expansion Pass, this new update adds a story mission for Mercury and introduces a new patrol area there. You also get two new Raids, a new Raid Liar and two new maps for The Crucible. The Destiny 2 Expansion Pass ain’t cheap; it costs $34.99 from the Microsoft Store. Curse of Osiris costs $20 on its own from the Microsoft Store.
A title update that also arrives today bumps Destiny 2’s power level cap to 335. If you’ve waited for 4K visuals and more color contrast for your Xbox One X, this update adds that too. Title updates are free, so have fun looking at all your character’s gear at four times the resolution of an HD display.
The Division is one of my favorite new games for this generation. This open-world game picks up new weapons, big changes to its Rogue Agents system, a huge new area to explore in New York City, new online player-vs-player multiplayer experience and a horde mode where a team of players can battle waves of new enemies. The Division 1.8 update is completely free.
