We’d feared that Windows Phone 8 adopters picking up a new device this holiday season might be faced with a long wait while Microsoft moved to address the random rebooting issue users have been experiencing these last few weeks. According to All Microsoft, that won’t be the case after all.

Word from Microsoft is that we should have an over-the-air fix deployed sometime in December. Sadly they’ve yet to publicly disclose what the problem exactly is. however we’ve been able to solve the problem by disabling Beats on our Windows Phone 8X. We’ve yet to encounter it on the Nokia Lumia 920.
