Xbox 360 owners who haven’t yet had the privilege of hijacking random city dwellers, breaking into movie production studios and kidnapping housewives for personal gain are in for treat. Microsoft has slashed the price of Grand Theft Auto V and its predecessor in this week’s Xbox Live Deal of the Week.

Starting today, Xbox Live users with a Gold account can pick up Grand Theft Auto V from the Xbox Games Store for $40.19.This week’s deals also include Grand Theft Auto IV for just $9.99. Thankfully, the deal also encompasses some related DLC: Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony is on sale for $7.99 while Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned is on sale for just $4.99.

Finally, unlike with the Games With Gold promotion, Microsoft is finally letting Xbox One users in. Major Nelson indicates that Microsoft has permanently slashed the price of Lococycle, one of the first downloadable games to arrive on the Xbox One last fall. Starting today, it’s just $9.99.

Of course, this being the Xbox Live Deal of the Week, users will need an Xbox Live Gold account before they’ll get the modified pricing. The prices of the discounted Grand Theft Auto titles and content will return to normal next Tuesday.
