We’ve done our best to get gamers excited about Titanfall, the upcoming multiplayer game that’ll pit first-person shooting mechanics and robots at user’s disposal. Nevertheless, it might be a good idea for Xbox 360 owners to uh, hold that excitement for just a bit. Electronics Arts now says that the Xbox 360 version of the game won’t make it to store shelves until March 25th.
EA announced the delay in a post on its blog this afternoon saying that the game’s developer — which isn’t the same as the developer of the Xbox One version — simply needs a bit more time to finish it. EA’s Patrick Soderlund says, “The extra two weeks wild ensure the full world of Xbox gamers has an awesome experience.” We suppose whether those who’d pre-ordered the Xbox 360 version of the game feel they’ve gotten an awesome experience comes down to what shape the game is in when it arrives on this new date — hopefully bug free.
Xbox One and Windows PC gamers can still expect Respawn Entertainment’s version of Titanfall on March 11th in the United Sates and March 13th in Europe.
