We know you science hounds are gearing up for Sunday night’s première of Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey. Heck, we don’t blame you, we haven’t been this excited for a science-related television event since History Channel’s The Universe last talked about the Theory of Relativity. To celebrate the launch of the newer series the National Geographic Channel and Fox are aring the series’ forbearer, Cosmos: A Personal Voyage, all weekend.
The festivities kick off this morning with, The Shore of the Cosmic Ocean at 12 p.m. Eastern Standard Time today. Episodes will run from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday March 8th and Sunday March 9th.
Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey features famed American scientist Neil DeGrasse Tyson. It’ll begin giving viewers of tour of all that the known scientific world has to offer on March 9 at 9 p.m. EST on Fox, National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild, FX and Fox Life. The original show was hosted by Carl Sagan.
