Anyone with an Xbox One console and the will to fight of zombies will be able to play Sunset Overdrive for free this Saturday.
Microsoft announced that it’d let users download Sunset Overdrive for free to their Xbox One on November 22nd this morning at MajorNelson. Users who take advantage of the download will be able to play the entire game — campaign, and Chaos Mode multiplayer without having to purchase a single extra. Throughout their time with the game, users will earn Xbox Live achievements to add to their gamescore. Xbox One owners who can’t finish the game before Sunday morning will have the option to purchase the game at a retail store or in the Xbox Store and keep their game save and achievements.
Sunset Overdrive launched on the Xbox One this past October. It’s a third-person shooter, with a ridiculous sense of humor.
