Star Trek Picard is officially happening.
CBS officially unveiled a logo and teaser for Star Trek Picard earlier today. Sure, they said the show was in the works months ago, but I’m only writing about it now because it’s actually something happening and not just a pipe dream. Yes, Patrick Stewart is returning as Captain Jean Luc Picard, though, it sounds like no one else from the Star Trek: The Next Generation crew will be a main cast member of Star Trek Picard.
According to Kate Aurthur of BuzzFeed, CBS showed a tiny bit of footage of the show at its Upfront event that’s aimed at advertisers.

Of course, CBS being the home for all things Star Trek, Picard will only be available to CBS All Access subscribers just like Star Trek Discovery.
